Wow, the event was truly mind blowing!!
I am so impressed that this was just the first event of many more. The program, performers and food were high quality and such a gift.
The program was very well planned: short and sweet, but flew by much quicker than expected. Each dance styles from multiple regions of India was captivating and well portrayed. Glistening textures and bright, colorful fabric decorated with gold and silver jewelry were breathtaking. I never knew there were so many variations! And to learn there are 179 languages in India…it makes sense why this country has such a deep roots to many lifestyles, ideas and products that have been adopted by all parts of the world.
Nirmal’s is wonderful so it was very thoughtful to have their catering. I tried a lot items I’ve never had before, so I’ll definitely look for some of these dishes when I go to the restaurant.
Linda Lowry’s speech was so concise, informative and extremely rich in content.
She’s a beautiful spirit and you can feel that through her presentation. I loved listening to her personal experience and now imagine visiting one day sooner than later.
I feel so blessed to have been able to witness and learn more about India and to be reminded how deeply each of our lives are already touched by the beautiful culture. Now I have a renewed, deeper appreciation for my connection to yoga and Ayurveda.
This entire production was impeccably executed. Thank you so much for this event.
