RISE: A Summit for Student Success
Resilience, Innovation, and Student Engagement

Based on last year's overwhelming success, we will be holding the RISE Summit for a second year and intend to make this an annual event. This university-wide event brings together faculty, staff, and leadership to collaborate on innovative strategies that advance student success and engagement.

In addition to high-impact practices in student success and engagement, this year, we’ll also have a particular focus on AI, an emerging technology that is impacting higher education. There will be a plenary session and several breakout sessions addressing the topic: What does teaching, learning, and assessment look like in the age of Artificial Intelligence?

We encourage you to attend all or part of this day. The Summit is an opportunity to share insights, spark ideas, and help shape initiatives that will guide the student experience at Seattle University. Specifically, the focus on pedagogy and AI is critically important for our faculty at this time.
