About this Event

#SUAAASThe African & African American Studies Program at Seattle University presents Dr. Quinton Morris for the 2025 Annual Henry McGee Lecture. Dr. Morris, Professor of Violin at Seattle University, will showcase his work and feature performances by students from his non-profit, Key to Change. Don't miss this exciting evening!
This year's lecture is special as we honor Professor Henry Hank McGee's legacy, who passed away on March 17, 2024. During his lifetime, he influenced many lives as a professor, scholar, activist, and musician. We will celebrate his lasting impact and continue his important social justice and cultural enrichment work. Refreshments provided. We hope you will join us!
**The African & African American Studies Program operates on a limited budget, so would you consider a $25 donation to sustain the McGee Lecture Series? Larger donations are also welcome. The donation link is here: select African & African American Studies from the drop-down menu and write "McGee Lecture Fund" in the comments. We appreciate your generosity!
