The Albers Executive Speaker Series kicks off its new season with Sunny Gurpreet Singh, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Register to attend his talk on 10/16, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Seattle University. The event is free and open to the public.
Sunny (Gurpreet) Singh is an entrepreneur and philanthropist based in Seattle. As a founder and leader, he is passionate about driving positive change and promoting wellbeing for all.
He is the founder of Roundglass, a global organization established in 2014 and dedicated to Wholistic Wellbeing, a way of approaching wellbeing that guides every decision and, thus, becomes a lifestyle.
Born in Punjab, India, and raised in New Delhi, Singh earned his first master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, then another master’s on a full scholarship in the United States. In 1996 he moved to Seattle and founded Edifecs, a global healthcare technology company serving over 350 healthcare enterprises and improving the lives of more than 215 million patients worldwide.
Singh's experience in healthcare inspired him to establish Roundglass and focus on preventive care and wellbeing. Roundglass includes Roundglass Living, the ultimate app for living better through Wholistic Wellbeing, and Roundglass Giving, a collection of social impact initiatives, including the Roundglass Foundation, Roundglass Sports, Roundglass Sustain, and the Roundglass India Center. These initiatives address sports, education, the environment, conservation, sustainability, and women’s health and have positively impacted more than 2 million lives.

About the Roundglass India Center at Seattle University
The Roundglass India Center at Seattle University focuses on the study of contemporary India as well as the Indian American community. Our mission is to educate our communities on current issues impacting them and conduct cutting edge research on India and Indian Americans with the goal of advancing positive social, economic, and policy change in the United States and India.
The Center is currently organized around four pillars of programming: 1) Free speaker events that advance conversations about Indians and Indian Americans 2) Interdisciplinary faculty research grants 3) Indian student scholarships and 4) The Access to Justice project for women in Punjab.
