What Else

  • What if I forgot to RSVP? We strongly encourage you to RSVP for yourself and your guests. We want to make sure we have enough space, food, and drinks for all our guests. If you forgot to RSVP but still want to come, please join us!
  • What should I wear? This is not an event for your cap and gown. Many people will be walking over directly after the commencement mass or headed out to dinner afterward. So, wear whatever works best for you, and leave your cap and gown at home.
  • What if it rains? We will have several large tents in the Quad that can provide coverage for rain or sun. If we have a severe weather event, we will move the celebration into the Pigott Atrium and Auditorium.
  • Where should I park? The Broadway Parking Garage may be closest to the event. But on-street parking is also an option. Capitol Hill parking can be a challenge, so consider walking, taking the bus, light rail, or carpooling. Grab a map of parking facilities here

Seattle University is offering complimentary parking for graduates and their guests during Commencement weekend, beginning Friday, June 13th at 3 p.m. until Monday, June 16th at 9 p.m.

If you are parking on campus outside of this timeframe, plan to pay for parking.
