DESCRIPTION:An annual tradition during Commencement Weekend\, the Baccalaur
 eate Mass is a celebration for the entire Seattle University community to 
 give thanks for our graduating students and to offer a blessing as they co
 mplete their time at Seattle U. It marks their transition into the future 
 as leaders for a just and humane world.\n\n \n\nAs a Jesuit Catholic unive
 rsity\, this celebration takes place within the context of the Mass. Peopl
 e of all religious\, spiritual\, and secular identities are warmly welcome
  to attend and participate.\n\n \n\nGraduating students\, their families a
 nd friends\, current students\, faculty\, staff\, and alumni are all invit
 ed to join us.\n\n \n\nDate & Time: Saturday\, June 13\, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
 \n\nLocation: St. James Cathedral (804 9th Avenue)\n\n \n\nGet Involved\n\
 n \n\nMembers of the Seattle University community are invited to participa
 te in the liturgy:\n\nBaccalaureate Mass Choir: Open to students\, faculty
 \, staff\, and alumni. No prior singing experience is required—music is 
 accessible\, and the time commitment is minimal.Liturgical Ministers: Oppo
 rtunities include readers\, ushers\, candle bearers\, gift bearers\, and c
 ommunion ministers. \n\nSign-up forms and additional details (including re
 hearsal schedules and ministry information) are available on the Commencem
 ent website.\n\n \n\nAdditional Information\n\n \n\nGraduating students\, 
 faculty\, and administrators who wish to robe and participate in the acade
