Faculty Scholarship Symposium
About this Event
901 12th Ave Seattle, WA
ENGAGED SCHOLARSHIP AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM
Please join colleagues for the annual Faculty Scholarship Symposium hosted by the Office of the Provost in partnership with the ORSP, Center for Faculty Development, Center for Community Engagement, Office of Undergraduate Research, Office of Research Oversight/Institutional Review Board, and Lemieux Library. Our focus this year is elevating our unique scholarship strengths in a climate of increasing political and culture threat to academic research, teaching, and freedom. This event will showcase the extensive resources and opportunities available to faculty in support of scholarly activities and participants will have an opportunity to discuss areas of success and to recommend additional forms of support and initiatives.
The Faculty Scholarship Symposium will feature stories and examples of faculty scholarship that engages communities, industries, policy-makers, and the general public. Please take a few minutes to update your information here: Faculty Scholarship Database
Please note that the day's events are in person, and only the first portion up to the breakout sessions, will be on Zoom. For those attending remotely, the Zoom link will be sent the day before the event.
