 iness led by the fourth generation of family leadership. Since their found
 ing over 110 years ago\, the business has proudly provided quality egg pro
 ducts to the Pacific Northwest region.\n\n \n\nJoin us for a fireside chat
  with Donnie to learn about the management structure behind a multigenerat
 ional business.\n\n \n\nAbout Donnie Wilcox\n\nDonnie Wilcox is a Financia
 l Controller and Sustainability Lead at Wilcox Farms and a fifth-generatio
 n member of the Wilcox Family Farms legacy. In February 2019\, Donnie beca
 me the latest in a long line leading back to Judson and Elizabeth Wilcox\,
  who started the farm in 1909. \n\n \n\nAfter graduating from the Universi
 ty of Washington in 2014\, Donnie spent five years at Amazon.com in multip
 le departments including marketing for electronics and product development
  for dairy products. It was the only job he’s ever had outside of the fa
 mily business — and it’s likely to stay that way. Since joining the bu
 siness in 2019\, Donnie has led Wilcox Farms' sustainability initiatives\,
  starting with their 2021 Regenerative Agriculture certification from the 
 Savory Institute. His current projects include ROC (Regenerative Organic C
 ertification)\, and quantifying and reducing the business' carbon emission
 s.\n\n \n\nAbout the Family Business Exchange\n\nSeattle University’s Fa
 mily Business Exchange (FBX) is a community of Pacific Northwest family bu
 siness owners who gather to engage in education\, networking\, and profess
 ional development tailored specifically to their needs.\n\n \n\nFBX provid
 es opportunities for families to address their unique challenges through r
 elevant programming. It serves as a forum for information exchange with th
 e goal of helping each member thrive through future generations. Areas of 
 best practice that we cover include family business succession planning\, 
 governance\, leadership development and growth\, among others
