 \, our esteemed Vice Provost for Student and Campus Life\, will be leaving
  Seattle University to become the inaugural Vice President for Student Aff
 airs and Inclusive Excellence at the University of Portland. Alvin’s las
 t day will be Friday\, January 10. \n\nThe Provost’s Office will host a 
 farewell event on Wednesday\, January 8 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the LeRoux 
 Room (Student Center 160) to congratulate Alvin and thank him for his outs
 tanding service to Seattle University. A brief program will begin promptly
  at 4:00 p.m. All faculty\, staff\, and students are welcome to attend.
