Join us for an inspiring virtual conversation with Jaz Brisack, labor organizer and author of Get On the Job and Organize: Standing Up for a Better Workplace and a Better World.

Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025
Time: 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET
Location: Virtual
Brisack made history as the organizer of the first unionized Starbucks, and later, an organizer at companies from Ben & Jerry's to Tesla. An influential voice in the modern labor movement, Brisack will talk about their new book and share insights on the growing wave of worker-led organizing and what it truly takes to build collective power.
The conversation will include commentary by Professor Seema N. Patel, Associate Professor at UC Law San Francisco, whose work focuses on labor rights, social justice, and public interest law.
Whether you're a political science major, grassroots organizer, or just someone who believes in fairness at work, this talk will challenge, motivate, and equip you to take action in your own community.
Sign up to receive the webinar link the day before the event. All webinar attendees will be entered into a raffle to win one of three copies of Brisack's book.
