Seattle University School of Law’s Luminaries in Law Series continues with a timely and thought-provoking conversation titled Immigration Is Not Invasion, featuring renowned constitutional law scholar Ilya Somin.
In this special lunchtime event, Professor Somin will be interviewed by Anthony E. Varona, Dean of Seattle University School of Law, and Andrew Siegel, Professor of Law. The discussion will engage questions at the intersection of immigration law, constitutional structure, political rhetoric, and civil liberties, offering insight into how legal doctrine and public discourse shape immigration policy and democratic values. Drawing on their respective expertise, Dean Varona and Professor Siegel will guide a wide-ranging conversation designed to illuminate one of the most pressing legal and societal debates of our time.
