Join us for an exclusive and candid panel discussion featuring distinguished judges and former and current law clerks who will demystify the clerkship application process. Designed for law students at all stages, this event offers firsthand insight into what judges look for in applicants, how to stand out in a competitive pool, and how to strategically prepare throughout law school.

Panelists will share practical advice on building strong relationships with faculty, crafting compelling application materials, navigating interviews, and positioning yourself for both state and federal clerkships. Attendees will also gain valuable perspective on what life is like inside chambers and how a clerkship can shape long-term career trajectories.

In addition, this program will preview the Federal Litigation course offered in Fall 2026. Attendees will learn how the course strengthens the research, writing, and advocacy skills that judges value most in clerkship candidates, and how it can position students for success in competitive judicial hiring.

Whether you're just beginning to consider a clerkship or preparing to apply, this program will provide actionable guidance, insider tips, and an opportunity to ask questions directly to those involved in the hiring process—while offering a forward-looking glimpse at how the upcoming Federal Litigation course can support your goals.
