An MMIW installation is on display at the Thinking Field from April 28th–May 8th, honoring and raising awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives. The Thinking Field is located next to the Reflection Pool and across from the Pigott Building.

In recognition of the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, the Indigenous Peoples Institute will be tabling on May 5th from 12:30–2:00 PM in front of the Reflection Pool, accompanied by drummers sharing traditional songs in remembrance of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives.
