DESCRIPTION:June 3 - July 24 \, 2026\n\nOpening Reception: June 3\, 2026\,
from 5 pm to 7 pm. \n\n \n\nJeju Island Artist Collective is pleased to pr
esent Smallish: Seattle\, the 5th iteration of its ongoing international e
xhibition dedicated to small-scale works with high ambitions. This edition
brings together artists from Korea and the United States\, working in dra
 wing\, painting\, sculpture\, textiles\, technology\, and video.\n\n \n\nI
n this show\, smallness invites intimate attention. The works are not prep
aratory or fragmentary\; each is complete\, yet deliberately contained. Th
rough constrained formats and economical gestures\, they focus on a rich r
ange of content\, inviting interaction and influence. Situated in Seattle\
, the exhibition takes on an added inflection. The city’s position as a
 threshold—between Pacific geographies\, economies\, and cultural flows
—echoes the exhibition’s interest in translation and exchange.\n\n \n\
nSmallish: Seattle continues the collective’s commitment to artist-drive
n curation and cross-cultural dialogue\, while shifting emphasis toward th
e specificity of encounter. What emerges is not a survey of small works\,
but a calibrated field of relations—where scale sharpens perception\, an
d limitation becomes a generative framework.\n\n \n\nAbout Jeju Island Art
ist Collective \n\nFounded in 2020\, the Jeju Island Artist Collective has
