Tilth Alliance uses farms, gardens, and kitchens as classrooms where people from all backgrounds can learn to grow, prepare, and eat food in ways that are ecologically sound, economically viable, and culturally appropriate. Advocacy, education, and collaboration are central to our work, influencing policy and engaging in hands-on programs within communities. Volunteers will assist at the May Plant Sale, our biggest fundraiser of the year, which attracts over 4,000 visitors. Tasks include set-up help, cashiers, ticket-writers, plant information guides, and floating help. Funds raised support all Tilth Alliance programs throughout the year.

Volunteer Information

• Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older.
• Volunteers will be spread out roles throughout the space, so it may not be a group volunteer experience. Volunteers can enjoy the plant sale before or after their shifts.
