Viral Realities and Moral Injury: From HIV/AIDS to Post-Covid Realities

Join CEIE for a presentation from CEIE Faculty Fellow and Premera Endowed Professor of Nursing Dr. Bonnie Bowie (BSN, MSN, MBA, PhD).

Drawing on her years of experience in public health, she will speak about her experience across two pandemics; drawing our attention to themes of care, resilience, and the role of leadership in times of crisis.

Dr. Bowie’s research addresses gaps in fostering interpersonally and physically safe environments for children and families. Her work is intersectional and interdisciplinary, connecting with teams of diverse leaders to create cost-effective and transformative interventions for people encountering threats to their health and wellbeing.

Please register to join us for this event! Refreshments will be available before and during the presentation which will conclude with time for questions.

Doors open at 4:00pm, Presentation Begins at 4:30pm
